FAQs

Is there a garden?

Yes we have a lovely little walled garden perfect for photographs (weather permitting). There is also a south facing patio area at the front of the hotel.

Is there plenty of parking?

Yes. We usually reserve a parking space for the bride and groom if asked to do so. We have a car park to the rear of the hotel and there is plenty of unrestricted roadside parking along the High Street.

How many bedrooms do you have?

We have 12 bedrooms (including 1 twin and 1 family room).

What time can I check in and check out?

Check in time is from 3pm and check out time is 11am.

Is there disabled access?

We do have disabled access to all areas with a lift to some of the bedrooms. Do remember it is an old building so not all the floors have an even surface.

Are there noise restrictions?

Yes, we have to abide by the rules given to us by the Health and Safety Executive. We have a sound limiter which is set at 77 decibels, to which speakers need to be plugged in for monitoring purposes. We ask that discos and bands finish at 12pm. .

Can I decorate the room?

Feel free to put your own personal touch to our rooms. We have a handyman onsite who will be able to assist if you need to hang anything. Please ask us for more details on what we can accommodate. We can also put you in touch with our florist who has done some wonderful decorations for different events.

Can you do cocktails?

Yes. If you would like to have a cocktail theme to your event that is no problem and we can also do mocktails for those who don’t drink alcohol or are underage.

How extensive is your wine list?

We have an extensive wine list and we hope you will find something you like, however, if you have a particular request, please ask.

What about cakes?

We are more than happy for you to bring your own cake but our pastry chef is amazing and can create a cake whatever your taste from fruit to sponge, large or small. If you would like something a little different we can even organise a ‘cheese’ cake or a Croquembouche (profiterole tower) for you.

What if one of my guest has food allergies?

All our food is made on site with fresh ingredients so if you let us know in advance we can make sure all allergies are catered for.
